Eligibility:

PMUY: Women hailing from BPL families, as identified through Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC) data. PM-Kisan: Marginal and small farmers possessing cultivable land up to 2 hectares.

Application Process:

PMUY: Registration for new connections can be completed at LPG distributorships or online via https://www.pmuy.gov.in/. PM-Kisan: Registration for PM-Kisan can be done online through the PM-Kisan portal https://pmkisan.gov.in/, CSC centers, or through village revenue officers (VROs).

Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY)

Also known as Ayushman Bharat, PM-JAY is a national health insurance scheme launched in 2018. It provides cashless and inpatient care for secondary and tertiary hospitalization to eligible beneficiaries.

Eligibility:

Families identified as BPL households based on SECC data. Unorganized workers registered with the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) or Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) earn less than ₹12,500 per month. High Vulnerable Families (as per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare).

Benefits:

Coverage up to ₹5 lakh per family per year for hospitalization expenses. Pre-existing conditions are covered after a waiting period of five years. Cashless and paperless transactions at impaneled hospitals.

Application Process:

Beneficiaries are automatically identified using SECC data. However, you can verify your eligibility status online via the PM-JAY portal https://abdm.gov.in/ or by contacting the Ayushman Bharat Contact Center (AB-CC) at 14555.

Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Mandhan (PMSYM)

Launched in 2019, PMSYM is a voluntary pension scheme for unorganized workers, providing a monthly pension post-60 years upon regular contributions.

Eligibility:

Unorganized workers aged between 18 and 40 years. Monthly income ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹50,000. Not covered under any other employee pension scheme.

Benefits:

Government co-contribution equivalent to the subscriber’s contribution, capped at ₹3,000 annually. Minimum guaranteed monthly pension of ₹1,000 upon attaining 60 years, subject to meeting contribution criteria.

Application Process:

Registration can be completed online at the e-Shram portal https://eshram.gov.in/, CSC centers, or through the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) offices.
